October is breast cancer awareness month

Early detection is key. Women should know how their breasts should look and feel and bring any changes to the attention of their healthcare provider right away. According to nationalbreastcancer.org, when breast cancer is detected early, and it is in the localized stage, the 5-year relative survival rate is 100%.

Honeymoon Experience

  While on our honeymoon, my husband and I arrived at our hotel very late. We were exhausted but still excited about this special trip. We checked in but when we tried to open the door to our room we were surprised when we couldn’t get the door to open.    The resistance we felt was a flight attendant who was given the room before we arrived trying to keep out an unknown intruder (us). After a quick discussion, we understood the hotel made a mistake.  They were kind enough to upgrade our room, but it was a terrible way to start our romantic adventure.
