When I opened my hotel room, what do I hear... Seroiusly?

" As a businessman, I travel a lot.  One time I was at the CES convention, you know, it's a really Big show.  When I returned to my hotel, used my room key to open the door, guess what, there's a person in the shower - 'Seriously'? "

" If I was a bad person, I could go check out who was in there, but, I didn't.  I went to the front desk, they apologized to me, they were so sorry, they even comped my room."

I wish the hotel had the technology so guests could actually see their room status.  If I'm a guy and think about these things, I can only imagine how businesswomen traveling alone feels.

Honeymoon Experience

  While on our honeymoon, my husband and I arrived at our hotel very late. We were exhausted but still excited about this special trip. We checked in but when we tried to open the door to our room we were surprised when we couldn’t get the door to open.    The resistance we felt was a flight attendant who was given the room before we arrived trying to keep out an unknown intruder (us). After a quick discussion, we understood the hotel made a mistake.  They were kind enough to upgrade our room, but it was a terrible way to start our romantic adventure.
